Apple announced that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro now come in two new stunning color options, alpine green and green. Ceramic Shield front covers make the iPhone 13 even more durable, and the iPhone 13 lineup offers the breakthrough A15 Bionic chip, an advanced 5G experience, cutting-edge camera systems for stunning photos and videos, and a huge battery life improvement.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro now in stunning green finishesThe iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini both have a bright Super Retina XDR display, and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a vibrant Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, which offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Pre-orders for the new alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and green iPhone 13 will begin on Friday, March 11, with availability on Friday, March 18.

Featuring a color-matched aluminum frame and precision-milled back glass, the green iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have an elegant design. Both iPhone 13 Pro and 13 come with a sleek, durable design. Featuring multiple layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics applied across the surface, the alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are beautifully complemented by the stainless steel band and textured matte back glass.

Both models are available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes, with Super Retina XDR and ProMotion displays. The green iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini feature an elegant color-matched aluminum frame and precision-milled back glass, vibrant Super Retina XDR display, and are available in 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch sizes. The entire lineup is also protected by the Ceramic Shield front cover – exclusive to iPhone and tougher than any smartphone glass – and maintains an industry-leading IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

With the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13, users can experience amazing features like Cinematic mode, enjoy fantastic graphics, and use iOS 15 seamlessly. With a custom-built image signal processor (ISP) combined with powerful camera hardware, A15 Bionic manages even the most demanding tasks with ease and is capable of even faster machine learning computations. Due to upgrades like A15 Bionic, more power-efficient components, and power optimizations enabled by tight hardware and software integration, iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max offer the best battery life on an iPhone.

With top-of-the-line cameras designed to work seamlessly with iOS 15 and powered by the new ISP in A15 Bionic, iPhone 13 Pro and 13 offer the most advanced dual and pro camera systems ever created by Apple. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have radically improved wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto cameras that capture stunning photos and video, as well as enabling impressive new camera capabilities like macro photography and video.

As a result of the faster Neural Engine in the A15 Bionic chip, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 both offer powerful computational photography features, such as Smart HDR, Deep Fusion, Night mode on all cameras, Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, and Photographic Styles. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max also feature Apple ProRAW.

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 introduced Cinematic mode to render bokeh effects in video, enabling users to adjust focus during and after capture. Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are the first smartphones offering a complete HDR workflow – capture, edit, and share – and users can take advantage of ProRes with these models.

As part of iOS 15, Apple released new ways to stay connected, powerful updates to help users stay focused and explore, and intelligent features to get more done. Users can share experiences during FaceTime calls using SharePlay, Focus reduces distraction, notifications have been redesigned, and Live Text recognizes text in photos and allows users to take action.

Apple Maps offers augmented reality walking directions and 3D driving experiences in the city. Weater is redesigned with full-screen maps and more graphic displays of data; Wallet adds support for home keys, driver’s licenses, and state identification; and privacy controls in Siri, Mail, and other places throughout the system further support the protection of user information.

Apple’s iPhone 13 models have been designed to minimize their impact on the environment, including the use of 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in magnets, 100 percent recycled gold in the plating of the main logic board and the wires in the front and rear cameras, and 100 percent recycled tin in the solder on the main logic board, as well as for the first time in the solder on the battery management unit.

Antenna lines on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are made from plastic water bottles that have been chemically transformed into a stronger, high-performance material, an industry first. Apple has redesigned iPhone 13 packaging, eliminating the outer plastic wrap, which avoids 600 metric tons of plastic and moves Apple closer to its goal of eliminating all plastic packaging by 2025. Both iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 meet Apple’s high standards for energy efficiency, and remain free of harmful substances.
